Fire breaks out at Willingdon home
A fire has broke out at a property in Broad Road, Willingdon.
East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called at 12.29 today (Friday, February 19) to reports of a fire at an address on Broad Road where the roof of a house was alight.
At the height of the incident six fire engines were in attendance along with an aerial ladder platform.
Building control and UK Power Networks also attended.

Hide AdA spokesperson for East Sussex Fire and Rescue Services said, “Power needed to be isolated which affected a number of homes in the area.
“We thank locals for their patience while the incident draws to a close.”
Stagecoach announced earlier that their buses were diverted due to the incident but are now running their planned routes.
The cause of the fire will be investigated.
