Fire crews called to barn blaze
BATTLE firefighters were called out to a barn fire in Crowhurst on Saturday (September 13).
Crews were called to the scene in Station Road at 7.10pm.
A large amount of hay was destroyed in the blaze.
The barn, which had asbestos in part of the roof, continued to smoulder for several days.
It is not known how the fire started.
