Fire crews called to incident at Newhaven scrap yard
Crews rushed to reports of a fire at a scrap yard in Newhaven this afternoon.
A statement from East Sussex Fire & Rescue said the call from the yard in North Quay Road came in around 3.30pm today (Monday, June 14).
The statement said firefighters put out a ‘small fire’ and have now left the scene.
