Fire crews called to kitchen fire at Horsham home

Firefighters were called to a house in Horsham on Wednesday (April 29) to deal with a kitchen fire.

A crew from Horsham was sent to the home in Forest Grange at around 4pm.

A spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue service said the fire had been extinguished before crews arrived but the kitchen was filled with smoke.

They added a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to remove the smoke from the building and the incident is being treated as accidental.
