Fire crews called to paraglider stuck in tree in Glynde

A paraglider was rescued by fire crews earlier today (Tuesday, June 16) after getting stuck in a tree in Glynde.

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said they were called out to the incident in Ranscombe Lane at 4.23pm and used a ladder to help the man down.

An ESFRS spokesperson said, “A man was stuck in a tree in Ranscombe Lane, Glynde. We got the call at 4.23pm. We used a ladder to help him down. He was fine and had no injuries.”
