Fire crews tackle chimney blazes
EAST Sussex Fire and Rescue Service is highlighting the importance of keeping chimneys swept after two fires in Rother last Thursday (May 8).
Firefighters from Battle were called to tackle a chimney fire in Bodiam Road, Bodiam, just after 2.20pm, while crews from Burwash were called to chimney fire in Brightling Down, Brightling, shortly before 8pm.
There were no reports of any injuries.
