Police are appealing for information after an East Sussex Fire and Rescue was injured at an accident scene.

Emergency services were called to a separate collision between two vehicles, a silver Vauxhall Agila and a grey Vauxhall Mokka at 11.08am on Thursday (August 4) on the B2026 at Duddleswell.

A passing member of ESFRS staff in a service vehicle assisted at the incident, he was not a firefighter or part of the operational team mobilised to the incident. He was speaking to a potential witness to the collision. However they left the scene and collided with the officer's foot causing them an injury.

PC Matt Harman said: "We believe this vehicle was a 4 x 4 and had a trailer attached to the back. We would like to speak to the driver, if this was you or you have any information about this vehicle please get in touch."

Police can be contacted on quoting serial 596 of 04/08.
