A blaze that destroyed a shed in Littlehampton has been put out by the fire service.

According to a spokesperson for West Sussex Fire and Rescue, the service was contacted at 11.10am today with reports of a shed that was alight at the rear of Barque Close in Littlehampton, that had also spread to nearby fencing.

Three fire engines attended the scene – one from Littlehampton, Arundel and Worthing – and two hose reels and a water shuttle were used to extinguish the blaze.
