Firefighters called to flaming banister in Horsham town centre

Firefighters were called after a banister was on fire in Horsham town centre.

The Horsham crew was called to a report of smoke coming out a flat in The Forum at 5.05pm today (Friday June 3).

A fire service spokesman said firefighters found a stairwell banister had been on fire following a building search.

The spokesman was unable to confirm if the fire was started deliberately or not. The crew left the scene at 5.52pm.
