Local stalwarts saved the day with their support when the event moved from the swamped recreation ground to the fire station and raised an incredible £900. The money will be shared between the Firefighter’s Charity and St Michael’s Hospice. Chris Sands, from the station, said: “I would like to thank everyone.”
