Firefighters free trapped woman after Cross In Hand crash

A woman had to be cut free by firefighters after a crash in Cross In Hand yesterday afternoon (Tuesday, March 22).

East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service were called to the A267 shortly after 3pm. Two crews from Uckfield and Heathfield attended.

The incident involved two private vehicles with one person trapped.

One adult female was released by crews using hydraulic cutting equipment and left in the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.

Firefighters left the scene at 4:20pm.
