“The fire was on the first floor and in the roof space affecting two neighbouring properties.
“Crews committed two breathing apparatus wearers into the building with a thermal imaging camera and a hose reel to fight the fire internally whilst another hose reel was used externally.”
The cause of the fire is believed to be an electrical heater fault and there are no reports of injuries, the Fire and Rescue Service added.

This includes only buying heaters from reputable shops, keeping the equipment away from furniture, and never drying washing on or near them.
The statement also provided information on how to deal with an electrical fire, with the Fire Service adding: “If there is an electrical fire and it is safe to do so, pull the plug out, or switch off the power at the fuse box.
"Sometimes this can stop the fire immediately.
“Never use water on an electrical fire, and don't take any risks with your safety - get out, stay out and call 999.”
