Firm sponsoring Adur and Worthing Business Awards reports strong progress on Splash Point pool

This year has shaped up to be an especially productive one for Kingsley Group, with work on Worthing’s Splash Point swimming pool among its key projects.

The company, which has its headquarters in Ferring, has revealed its million-pound contract on the new leisure facility was proceeding on schedule.

It is just one of many recent developments for the firm, whose work spans specialist roofing, through to asbestos removal and solar panel installation.

The company is eagerly anticpating being a sponsor at this year’s Adur and Worthing Business Awards, which takes place at Worthing’s Pavilion this evening (Friday, November 16).

Commenting on its involvement, Nick Turnbull, director of the Eco Solutions division of Kingsley, said: “As a group we are proud to be sponsoring the outstanding contribution to the community category, which is in keeping with company’s belief in supporting local businesses.

“That’s why it has been good to be involved with schemes like the Splash Point pool, working on the roof and the rest of the building.

“We have other contracts in the area including with Worthing Homes, working on properties for Arun District Council, through to national work with the Ministry of Defence.”

Mr Turnbull said the firm’s diversification into markets beyond its core roofing arm of the business had proved a positive and rewarding strategy.

As he explained, its showroom in Ferring has made a significant impact on its fortunes in terms of offering valuable demonstrations of its solar power roofing products – which include market-leading SunPower panels.

He added: “We’ve found a lot of people enjoy coming to our centre in Ferring as it gives people the chance to explore what options they have, rather than us just selling them something as there are full displays.”

Beyond its commercial operations, he revealed that the firm has been keen to give back to the community. This has been very ably demonstrated with its support for the Worthing Food Bank, which over the past six years has collected and distributed food to thousands of residents in the area who have been in need of direct assistance.
