First flag day proves a success

Street collections were made throughout the town centre and seafront on Saturday and music provided by Joe Butt at Stage by the Sea received glowing reviews.

Abi Harley, community fundraiser, said: “Our first Littlehampton Flag Day was a success and we hope to make this an annual event.

“It gives the Littlehampton community the opportunity to see that the charity is now increasing its presence in Littlehampton and find out more about the work the charity does.

“We are extremely grateful to the volunteers who braved the weather to stand collecting for us, Joe Butt who provided such excellend music and the generosity of the local community.”

The charity continues to expand its work in the Littlehampton area, having taken over the running of the Littlehampton Breakfast Club, providing a lifeline to some of the most vulnerable men and women in the community.
