Fishersgate set for a golden spring

FISHERSGATE will turn gold next spring when a host of daffodils flutter and dance in the breeze.

As part of Adur District Council's "Spruce it Up" campaign, to make the district cleaner, greener, and safer, about 4,000 daffodil bulbs have been planted with help from the community.

Children from Fishersgate First School joined Adur council's staff to plant bulbs at Fishersgate Recreation Ground last month '“ and more bulbs had been planted by residents at the same spot a few days earlier.
