Hailsham Leisure Centre, operated by Freedom Leisure in partnership with Wealden District Council, is throwing open its doors to host a fitness fiesta on November 22 from 8am until 4.30pm.
The day aims to raise money for the British Heart Foundation while people have fun through fitness.
Mayor and Chairman cllr Jo Bentley will be in attendance to officially kick off the festivities at 9am in the civic hall.
There will be a host of activities on offer including Pilates, MyRide cycling, BodyPump, a weights-based fitness session, and BodyCombat, an energetic, full body martial arts workout.
Freedom Leisure’s very best instructors from across the county will be there, along with Les Mills and Zumba master trainers, to take classes and offer a helping hand, so even people who have never exercised before can take part with confidence.
Kathy Brown, Freedom Leisure studio co-ordinator, said: “We’re really excited to offer a jam packed day of activities for everyone to enjoy. You don’t have to be a fitness fanatic: in fact beginners will be particularly welcome to join in the fun. We wanted to offer something exciting and accessible as it’s really important to us that we get people of all ages, sizes and abilities moving. So if you want to smile while you work up a sweat, step lively and sign up to our fitness fiesta.”
Tickets go on sale on October 29 from 9am and range from £13 to £25 dependent on membership. Participants are able to book as many classes as they wish on a first come, first served basis and must be over the age of 16. Visit www.freedom-leisure.co.uk, call 01323 846755 or email email@example.com.
