Five Ashes man loses licence for drug driving

A 40-year-old window fitter from Five Ashes has received a 18 month driving ban after admitting to drug driving.

Christopher Horn of Heathfield Road, Five Ashes, was arrested on the A27 at Crossbush, Arundel, on June 17 and charged with driving with 254mcg of benzoylecgonine - the major metabolite of cocaine - per litre of blood in his system, say Sussex Police.

He pleaded guilty at Worthing Magistrates' Court on September 6 and was disqualified from driving for 18 months. He was also ordered to pay a £310 fine, £85 costs and a £31 victim surcharge.
