Flat damaged
Fire has left a Barnham flat badly damaged. The accidental blaze saw 25 per cent of the property in the top floor of a three-storey block in Warren Way damaged by the flames. The rest of the property was damaged by heat and smoke.
The alarm was raised just before 1am on Sunday. Its cause is believed to have been an overheated extractor fan. About 20 firefighters from Bognor Regis, Arundel, Littlehampton and Chichester were called the property. They were at the scene for almost an hour.
