Former Bognor college student wins top photography award

A former Bognor Regis Community College student has been selected for a prestigious global photographic prize.

Photographer Sam Kemp was one of 25 winners from the UK of a Magenta Publishing photographic prize. The same number of winners was chosen from both the USA and Canada, from 2,000 entries in all.

The accolade will see Sam's photos published in the 2008 Magenta yearbook which is seen by all those who matter in the photographic world.

Sam said: "It could lead to an advertising agency wanting to commission me or someone wanting to use my artwork.

"Winning the prize is all about getting exposure."
