Former Britain's Got Talent star sings at care home

A former Britain's Got Talent contestant helped a Yapton care home to raise just over £1,000 at its summer fête.

Paul Manners visited Warmere Court for its afternoon party, which included face painting, craft tables and a barbecue.

The reality TV star, who has recently signed a deal with a record company in London, sang songs from his album Hold You in My Arms.

A singer, songwriter, keyboardist, producer, sound engineer host and DJ, Paul was born in Brent and raised in Harrow.

He appeared in The Only Way Is Essex in January 2014 and featured on Britain’s Got Talent as a contestant in April 2015.

The care home also had performances from local singer Stacey Turner and school group Shine.

The £1,050 raised will go towards day trips and events for the residents.

Manager Mary Latter said: “It was a real treat to have Paul perform for our residents and their families while we celebrated in the sunny weather.”
