Four arrested after Pulborough assault

Four people were arrested including two 16-year-old boys after a man from Pulborough was assaulted at a train station on Friday (April 24).

A spokesperson for British Transport Police (BTP)said officers from BTP and Sussex Police were called to Pulborough train station at around 11pm after reports a 53-year-old man had been attacked.

He was taken to hospital with injuries to his face.

They added: “Four people were arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm.

“An 18-year-old man and two 16-year-old boys, all from Haywards Heath, were interviewed under caution and subsequently released on police bail until 20 June.

“A 21-year-old man was released with no further action.”
