Four chosen for Challenge

The voting has now closed for the Rox Level 42 Challenge and only four bands received the votes required to gain automatic qualification to the next round.

All the votes received by the closing date of Monday, July 23 were counted at the Observer's offices and the lucky four bands are Cush, Golden Boulder, Contrabanned and I am Jack, who now qualify for the final.

All of the remaining eight bands will now go through to the live heat on August 1 at Visions Nightclub on Bognor Pier to determine which of them will take the last two available spaces in the six-band final line-up.
