Four men arrested after serious assault in Bognor Regis

At about 11.15pm, near the Regis Centre in Bognor Regis, a 16-year-old boy was kicked in the head and a 15-year-old girl was punched in the face. The boy was taken by ambulance to East Surrey Hospital for treatment, and was later discharged.

Two men, aged 49 and two 23 year olds, all from Wolverhampton, remain in police custody.

Police said they are trying to ascertain what led to the attack and are appealing for anyone with information to contact them on 0845 60 70 999, quoting serial 1677 of 31/3. Alternatively, contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
