The film follows self-help addict Lou, who goes on a road trip of violent self-discovery with her unhinged life coach Val.

It was made with the help of East Sussex locals and it premiered in Leicester Square at the Frightfest Film Festival.

Poppy said: “I’m very excited to be bringing the hilarious A Serial Killer’s Guide To Life to my home town of Lewes. My acting career started when I was very young there, at the Lewes Little Theatre and drama groups at All Saints Centre. Now to have had such success with our first feature, it’s great to be able to share the star of the film, the beautiful Sussex countryside, with locals.”
