This beautifully illustrated book is an anthology of previously published Field of View articles '“ so avidly followed by readers of West Sussex Gazette.

Foxglove's book is a delightful dip into the many accounts of his life, arranged within the four seasons. This is not a book reminiscing of days gone by, although there is much reference to life before the infamous ban on hunting with dogs, but a wonderful insight into life in the countryside as it is today. Set in the rolling South Downs of West Sussex, each little view could be transplanted anywhere in Great Britain, ensuring its popularity across the country.

Evocative photography, taken by Foxglove himself, adds a new dimension to Field of View. However, once you have started to read this book, the words themselves will conjure up images in the mind.
