Free computer courses

We all need a little help sometimes - especially when it comes to computers.

But if you feel out of touch and want to rejoin the 21st century, free courses at Kip McGrath tuition centre aim to give you that chance.

The courses are for anyone over the age of 19 who wants to make a start, whether that's to buy and sell on Ebay, use Microsoft Word, or download and edit photographs.

Sian Crossland of Crossland and Dudson Training said: "This is an amazing chance for local people to come and learn a whole range of Computer Skills for free. We have a fully resourced facility that allows us to show people all the usual things you'd expect like surfing the net and creating documents.

"These courses are quite different from our previous Computer courses as they're for everyone over the age of 19 in Bexhill as opposed to parents. Also we're looking at selling on Ebay and using a digital camera properly as well as having a BBC radio journalist doing a session whereby we'll create our own radio station and even do some recording."

There will be six time slots during the week when people come for three hours - each course lasts for four weeks and are not in school holidays.

Saturdays from 1-4pm, starting February 7.

Mondays from 9.15-12.15pm and 12.30-3.30pm, starting February 9.

Tuesdays from 1-4pm, starting February 10.

Thursdays from 1-4pm, starting February 12.

Fridays from 9.30-12.30pm, starting February 13.
