The event, from 12pm to 5pm, is raising money for the Help Toby Run With His Friends appeal, supported by the Observer series.

All proceeds will go towards an SDR operation and follow-up care for seven-year-old Toby Booker, of Havelock Road, Bognor Regis.

Toby’s mum, Jess Booker, is a teacher at Funtington Primary School, in Heather Close, West Ashling, so staff and parents were keen to support the campaign.

There will be face painting, a silent auction, raffle with good prizes, teddy tombola, donkey rides, hog roast, bouncy castle and giant slide, entertainment from Damiain Lodrick Band and Knightstar Youth Productions, art and craft stalls and much more.

Ian Booker, Toby’s dad, hinted: “There may even be something special for avid Formula One fans!”

Entry is free but donations are welcome. Visit www.tobybooker.co.uk for more information.
