Free 'mini games' event at Bexhill Leisure centre
CALLING all energetic children and parents! Freedom Leisure's Bexhill Leisure centre needs you to join in the fun and get active on Friday 8th August at their free 'mini-games' event, which is being held in conjunction with Active Rother, to celebrate the Olympics.
The event, which will be hosted by Hastings athlete, Olympic finalist Sean Baldock, begins at 12 noon and there will be plenty of activities on offer including standing high jump, 20m sprints and standing long jump.
Freedom Leisure's Nicole White said the games are aimed at encouraging children and their parents to get out and about during the school holidays, do some exercise and have some fun.
She said: "Come along and join in this fantastic free event, it's a great way to stay active!"
