Free trees for Bognor

Free tree saplings are on their way to five education sites around Bognor Regis.

They are contained in hedge and copse packs being sent out by the Woodland Trust charity.

Its Tree for All project is the biggest children's tree-planting initiative across the UK.

Places receiving the packs are Downview Primary School, Felpham; Rose Green Junior School; Rose Green Infant School; South Bersted CoE Primary School; and the University of Chichester campus.

Each pack contains either 30 native hedge trees such as hawthorn and hazel or 30 native copse trees like birch and rowan.
