Free yoga festival to be held in Hove

Brighton Yoga Festival takes place at the Sussex Cricket Ground in Hove this weekend, featuring over 100 yoga classes, meditation sessions, specialist and kids yoga classes, talks about yoga and retail stalls.

The festival has grown since 2014 to be the UK’s largest free entry yoga festival – with more than 3,000 attending last year at the Dome.

This year's event is open to those who have never tried yoga before but would like to give it a go, as well as experienced yogis.

Doors open at 9.45am to 7pm on Saturday (July 8) and from 9.45am to 6pm on Sunday (July 9).

The festival is funded by sponsors and retailers, with those attending classes asked to make voluntary donations to help cover the costs. People wishing to attend are urged to book in advance online.

The is organised by the Brighton Yoga Foundation, a charity which aims to get the whole city doing yoga.
