Fun for Felpham youngsters

Circus fun is promised in a Big Top in Felpham next week.

Music, drama, craft and games will be some of the activities based on Biblical characters which five to 11-year-olds can enjoy between 10am and noon in the latest Scripture Union holiday special.

For young people aged 11-plus, the In:Tents sessions will explore issues relevant to being their age in today's society.

The events are based at Felpham Methodist Church in Felpham Way between Monday and Friday.

They have been taking place each summer since 1918.

There will also be a lot happening for families. Beach fun and games will take place at the end of Blakes Road at 4.30pm on Monday.

The traditional tide fight is expected to be a highlight.

Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons at 2.30pm feature a family outing, a craft afternoon and fun and games for all ages.

Saturday from 4.30pm will see a barbecue followed by a celebration in the church at 6pm of the week where the children and young people will show the results of their activities.

A family service at 10.30am on Sunday, July 13, will end the special week.
