Funding milestone reached in fight to '˜save Pagham'

The first £1,000 has been raised by residents fighting to '˜save Pagham' from thousands of new homes.

A fundraising post has been erected in the village showing £1,145 has so far been pledged for legal costs involved in potential planning inquiries against several large developments.

More than 2,000 letters of objection have been sent to Arun District Council against proposed developments at Sefter Road, Hook Lane and Summer Lane.
