Fundraisers cook up some great ideas to help learning centre

A SUPPORTER of the Aldingbourne Country Centre has used her loaf to raise money for its activities.

Janie Impey organised two traditional baking days at the centre to help its operator, the Aldingbourne Trust.

The days in which master baker Clive Mellum showed how to create traditional bread raised more than £700.

Janie, the mother of Anthony, 24, an adult with learning disabilities who is supported by the trust, said: “We are so grateful to the Aldingbourne Trust for the support they give our son.

“We will do anything we can to help them raise the money they require so they can continue giving our children the essential support they need to help them live life to their full potential.

“It has made all the difference to us as Anthony has been given the skills, confidence and support to live independently,’ Janie stated.

Mr Mellum works for Shipton Mill near Tetbury which donated 16 boxes of mixed flours to the event.
