Furniture fire

Furniture worth around £1,500 was stolen from an Aldwick house '“ and then set on fire.

The wooden items such as chairs were taken from the garden of an address in Fish Lane on July 5, but police have only now issued an appeal for information.

It is believed the furniture was taken immediately to the neighbouring beach and used as fuel for a fire lit for a party.
