"I was due to visit last December, but fell over my own suitcase and twisted my ankle. I have had a few letters printed in various newspapers '“ London and other places '“ which have brought in a little money; did a few table sales; otherwise I pay for everything.

"The Cats Whiskers in Sackville Rd very kindly sold '“ at reduced price - outdated stock of dog coats and bowls which I posted.

"Also an animal supply shop in Brighton did the same.

"I have written to many suppliers of food, bedding, worming, tick & flea products, etc to see if they can help, but not a lot of joy, so I purchase the cheapest over-the-counter products from Pets At Home in Glyne Gap and when I can, send money."
