Gardeners can question experts and help hospice

GARDENERS will have the chance to find out all the answers to a perfect plot at a charity event in Felpham.

A special gardeners’ question time is being held at St Mary’s Centre by the Bognor Regis Friends of Chestnut
Tree House children’s hospice.

The event will feature a panel which will include Jean Griffen, a regular reporter on BBC Radio Sussex’s gardening programme, and the h
ead gardeners of Fittleworth House and Parham House.

It will take place at 6.30pm on June 4.

Paula Puleston, one of the Friends, said the evening would be a fitting way to help to celebrate the hospice’s tenth birthday.

“It will be a fun evening with the opportunity to purchase plants donated by local nurseries and enjoy a light buffet with wine,” she said.

“I have volunteered at Chestnure Tree House since 2007 and love every bit of my time spent helping the teams that do such fantastic work both there and out in the community.”

Tickets for the evening cost £10 each.

They can be bought from Paula on 01243 584843.
