Gardeners prepare for early summer show

Doors open to the public at 2pm.

Exhibitors will stage their entries between 8am and 10am when the judging will commence.

Classes are for floral, cactus and succulent plants, vegetables and fruit, floral art, domestic, children and photography.

Four trophies are up for competition and the prizes in each class are 1st '“ 1; 2nd '“ 60p; 3rd '“ 40p.

This show always has a fine display of roses and the children's exhibits including monsters made from vegetables.

Fruit or flowers are often striking and full of ingenuity.

The photography classes are increasing in popularity and are now extremely competitive and well worth seeing. Refreshments will be available and there will be a raffle.
