Gary's punchy challenge

Gary, of Hillside Road, will be attempting to break the punchbag record and is aiming at an astonishing 140,000 punches in 12 hours.

His plan is keep to a constant rate of three punches per second and reckons all he needs is the will to keep going - so give some encouragement to help him through the day.

Gary's doing this to raise funds for Save the Children - wife Jackie is manager of the branch - and knows it will take vast reserves of stamina, strength and determination to get through.
