Gatwick passengers facing delays this morning

PASSENGERS flying out of Gatwick Airport today could face disruption.

Already a number of flights have had to be re-directed to Stansted, Luton, Heathrow and Bristol airport after a combination of essential runway maintenance and poor visibility caused the disruption.

Some 24 flights due to land at Gatwick after midnight had to be re-directed affecting around 1,500 passengers and the airport has warned there could be more delays throughout the morning.
