Georgina's sights trained on Crufts

A 16-year-old girl from Chichester will be hoping to create some doggie delight when she takes part in Crufts this March.

Georgina Krall started training the family pet Pippa, a King Charles spaniel, just over a year ago and has since been climbing the ranks of the Bognor Dog Training Group where she is a keen member.

Mother Amanda Bell said: "She really is quite a girl, she's done it all herself and is an inspiration for what girls of her age can achieve.

"Young people are always being put down but Georgina's qualified for Crufts at just 16 which is a wonderful achievement. She's always training Pippa. She loves it because it's just good fun and there's lots of playing.

"I don't know where she gets her talent from but we are all very proud of her."

The Chichester High School for Girls pupil has passed several Kennel Club dog obedience qualifications and is now hoping she can repeat her success at the national competition, which takes place at the NEC, Birmingham, from March 6-9.
