German dagger stolen in Boreham Street burglary

A CEREMONIAL GERMAN DAGGER was stolen along with other treasures from a home in Boreham Street near Hailsham.

There was also a glass dome clock made of brass, and a black-and-pearl jewellery box taken at 9.15pm on Wednesday, April 11.

Sussex Police issued an appeal for witnesses to come forward to help the investigation.

Detective Constable Alex Campbell, of the Wealden Priority Crime Unit, said: “A number of items were stolen in this burglary including a large amount of jewellery.

“I would ask anyone if they have any information regarding any items please come forward and let us know.” Any witness or anyone with information is asked to phone: 101 quoting serial 1764 of April 11.
