Get creative over Easter

West Dean College is offering a range of ways to get creative over the Easter break.

There are lots of courses suitable for beginners, from pottery, mosaics or watercolour painting, to enamelling, making felt accessories or paper engineering for pop-up books.

Easter courses include:

Enamelling with small silkscreens, April 21–25, suitable for all. On this course you make silkscreen-printed images in coloured enamels. Beginning with a photocopied image of your own, you use a thermal imager to transfer it to a small screen. This will be used to print viscous acrylic enamels onto small pieces of copper or pre-enamelled surfaces which are then fired in a kiln. Tutor: Pat Johnson.
