Smash hit comedy Ghostbusters will be shown at Newhaven Fort on Saturday November 2 at 2pm.
Ghostbusters (1984) stars Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, as well as Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis.
It was the most successful comedy of the 1980s, grossing $509 million in today’s money.
The film tells the story of three unemployed parapsychology professors who set up a ghost removal service.
Ghostbusters became a cultural phenomenon, spawning a kid’s cartoon series, a sequel and the catchphrase ‘Who you gonna call?’
The movie has since appeared on numerous lists of the 100 greatest movies of all time.
The screening is being organised by Filmspot which brings movies to heritage locations in East Sussex.

On Saturday October 26 and Sunday October 27 Hands on History will return with its World War II paintball gun firing range (additional charge will apply).
Medicine Through the Ages presentations and a display will take place on Sunday October 27, on Wednesday October 30 there will be craft workshops and on Thursday October 31 there will be animal handling workshops from Jaws and Claws.
