Gig for disabled child raises hundreds

A MUSIC gig for a disabled toddler in Littlehampton has raised hundreds for charity.

Scores of people flocked to the General Henry pub, in Horsham Road, for an 11-hour festival of music which drummed-up about £820 for the disability charity Scope.

The fundraising bonanza was inspired by the family of brave Littlehampton one-year-old Gabby Walkling, who suffers from cerebral palsy.

About a dozen musicians offered their talents to play during the day, which was organised by Gabby’s uncle, Loz Scott, of Timberleys, in Littlehampton.

Loz, 41, wished to thank all those who helped make the day such a success.

He said: “It went really well and we’re planning on holding another fundraising gig, later this year.”
