Girl (14) assaulted on seafront

Police in Bognor are appealing for information after a 14 year old girl was physically assaulted by another girl as she walked along the promenade.

The incident occurred at approximately 3.15pm on Saturday January 26 near to the skate park on Aldwick Road, opposite the Royal Norfolk Hotel.

The victim had been walking with a female friend when she was attacked from behind. The female offender is described as being approximately 14 years of age.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed this unprovoked assault, or anyone who may know who the offender is, to contact PC Dawes at Bognor Regis police station on 0845 60 70 999 quoting WA1/830/08.
