Girl and man have a lucky escape after arsonists destroy home

AN EIGHT-year-old girl and 40-year-old man were forced to flee their ablaze motorhome in Angmering after arsonists struck, destroying their home.

The incident happened at 3am yesterday morning (Sunday, November 16) in Mayflower Way.

The pair left the home safely and were not hurt during the attack.

However, the motorhome and its contents were completely destroyed, police said today (Monday, November 17).

DC Emma Cruise is now urging witnesses to come forward to help police with their investigation.

She said: “We are appealing to anyone who might have seen someone acting suspiciously in the area or anyone who might have information. Please contact us on [email protected] or 101. Alternatively contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
