Girls camp out to help needy children

THREE teenage friends from Rye have raised £800 for charity by camping out.

Hannah Lane and friends Anya Sadler and Annabel Gavin, all aged 13, camped ourt for two nights in a field in Kent, taking the bare essentials to fend for themselves.

So far they have raised an amazing £640 for Teenage Cancer Trust and £160 for the National Deaf Children’s Society.

The girls would like to thank Bournes removals who supplied the boxes, The Bell, Iden, The Pub 31 Winchelsea Beach and The White Hart Beefeater, Guestling for their support and donations.
