PREPARATIONS for a glorious evening of music and entertainment are going full speed ahead at Herstmonceux Castle.
‘Midsummer Music and Mirth’ will be the order of the night on June 25, as guests are enchanted by the magical voices of London Festival Opera and funds raised on the night will benefit nine local hospices.
Guests are invited to enjoy a pre-concert picnic in the lieu of the magnificent backdrop of the Castle, which is one of the oldest and most significant brick buildings still standing in England, while being serenaded by Ticklers Swing Band.
The black-tie evening includes a 30 minute complimentary champagne interval said to be the best drinks party in the Sussex social calendar.
Kathy Gore, FESH Chairman, said: “We’re very grateful to all of those who have supported this event, which promises to be a wonderful evening of entertainment that is expected to raise £50,000 for our hospices.”
Some tickets are still available at £65 and £55.
