The prestigious award is presented to an NCT volunteer who has gone above and beyond and made a significant impact on people’s lives and wellbeing.

Jenny is a truly hands on volunteer and is always on the lookout for ways to expand NCT’s reach to include more parents. Jenny was instrumental in organising the branch’s Baby Bundles program that provides much needed baby goods to disadvantaged new parents within the community. She has also established and runs a dedicated group for dad’s which continues to grow in popularity.

NCT Head of Volunteering Nikki Squelch said: “Jenny truly embodies NCT’s commitment to offer support every new parent throughout the First 1,000 days and it is an honour to present her with this award.”

In accepting the award, Jenny said: “I know first-hand how important support is for new parents across every walk of life and is why I strive to develop initiatives that make life as a new mum or dad that little bit easier. I feel honoured to receive this award for doing something I love.”
