Going underground at historic town

The ‘Under Winchelsea’ tours of the medieval cellars and town, led by the Winchelsea Archaeological Society, start against over the Easter weekend.

The tour starts at 2pm on Sunday, 20 April, from Castle Street in Winchelsea.

It costs £5 a head and it takes about 90 minutes. Proceeds go to the society, which is a registered charity.
